Selby Roots. Oil on linen, 18 by 24 inches, unframed. This is a study of the magnificent Australian ficus tree at Selby Gardens. When I look at the overall pattern I think of glaciers, the foothills of mountains, an octopus, schools of fish, and so on. I think it is that repeating order that I am after, and why this tree is so fascinating.
Offered as an original oil, nicely framed. Prints available on request.
